Disney adults could not be more ecstatic.
Ken Potrock, President of Disneyland Resort
After two long, dry years, Disney adults rejoiced at the news that Disney Parks would soon allow kissing with tongue again. We took a mic around the park and heard what various character performers and ride workers to see what they have to say about it:
Katie, 22, Ariel
The audition process for this gig was soooo thorough. It will be nice to put those skills to use again.
Chris, 20, Prince Naveen
Yeah, the only kind of people who would stand in line for something like that are the kind of people you really do not want to be kissing.
Taylor, 18, Elsa
Just because we’re allowed to make out in character again doesn’t mean we have to. Luckily, my character’s kind of a b****. Or a lesbian. Or both. Either way, I’m set. This is not my problem.
Jax, 21, Haunted Mansion worker
When protesters chanted, “Bring back the magic!” at the gates of Disney, this is exactly what they were talking about. It’s so great to be back.
Dylan, 28, Goofy
I’m so glad. I can’t wait to French kiss my wife again.
Jocelyn, 25, Jungle Cruise worker
Hell yeah. This is my summer. Last year I was stuck in the Haunted Mansion– have you seen those outfits? Hideous. And so uncomfortably hot. Now I got promoted to a jungle cruise director and my life has never been better. I have a great look, I’m cracking everybody up with my dad jokes, I’m in my element. And everyone wants to get with me.
